Are you supporting the adoption or implementation of OpenSciEd, the high quality, standards-aligned, phenomena-based science curriculum? Come to our in-person two-day summer institute in New Bedford on July 7 + 8, 2026 from 8:30-3:30.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Internalize the OSE curriculum design and routines from the student and teacher perspective
- Unpack two units of study to explore the anchor phenomena
- Discuss the OSE approach assessment for learning.
- Join in community with other OSE educators.
Cost: $700. Coffee and lunch provided.
Participants will receive a certification of completion.
Participants who complete the program are eligible for 10 PDPs.
Facilitator Sarah Vendetti is a longtime science educator and leader. She has served as a science Teacher Leader as well as a district wide Department Head, overseeing the adoption and implementation of OpenSciEd for Plymouth Public School.
