Conference Session at the ASCD Leadership Summit: Grow Together, Lead Together: Your Next Step in Educational Leadership

In this turbo talk, attendees will hear motivational take-home strategies for embracing ambition and "going for it" as a woman.

“As a female teacher, I never raised my hand for available leadership positions in my school. I didn’t feel ready or worthy, I feared the hard conversations, and I worried about the potential toll on my home life. Yet, when I was tapped on the shoulder, I accepted role after role and found each one rewarding. At a certain point, I stopped waiting for the shoulder tap and began instead to raise my hand. In this turbo talk, I'll share my strategies for embracing ambition and "going for it" as a woman.” - cor creative partners Co-Founder, Maureen Chapman
