The Summer Institute
Participants in this two-day summer institute engage in learning experiences to understand the inquiry and investigation approach of the Investigating History curriculum as a whole as well as the particular content and skills of Unit 1. Educators have time and support to engage individually and collectively in practical exercises that will leave them feeling ready and confident to implement this program at the start of the school year.
Participants who complete the course are eligible for 10 PDPs.

Developed by DESE in collaboration with teachers and history scholars, this curriculum is now available at no cost to schools and districts for students in grades 5-7.
