Collaboration for Equity
In the Collaboration for Equity webinar series, educators learn practical strategies for optimizing collaborative conditions, strengthening collaboration skills in oneself and in others, unpacking power dynamics that impact group work, and assessing individual and team success. By the end of the series, participants feel prepared to facilitate and engage in equitable and effective collaboration, whether with colleagues or with students.

Session 2: Fostering Collaborative Conditions
During the second session of Collaboration for Equity, participants practice strategies that they can use with colleagues and with kids in order to foster equitable and effective collaborative conditions. Areas of exploration include building strong relationships based on shared purpose, using data to inform action, valuing each individual’s identity, experience and perspectives, empowering team members through roles and responsiblities, and developing impactful schedules and routines.
