Collaboration for Equity
In the Collaboration for Equity webinar series, educators learn practical strategies for optimizing collaborative conditions, strengthening collaboration skills in oneself and in others, unpacking power dynamics that impact group work, and assessing individual and team success. By the end of the series, participants feel prepared to facilitate and engage in equitable and effective collaboration, whether with colleagues or with students.

Session 4: Unpacking Power Dynamics in Collaborative Teams
During the fourth session of Collaboration for Equity, educators reflect on how our identities, experiences, emotions, and perspectives inform our collaborative relationships, and explore how our proximities to power and privilege impact our approaches to collaboration. By the end of the session, participants develop a plan for fostering an inclusive, empowering, identity-conscious collaborative culture, whether that be on their professional team or in their classroom.
