Maureen Chapman and James Simons love school. As co-founders of Cor Creative Partners, Maureen and James support educators with leadership development, the integration of academic, emotional, and social skill development in the classroom, and curriculum design and implementation. They coach leaders and classroom teachers, facilitate group professional development experiences, provide consulting services, and contribute to a community of thought leaders by writing, speaking, and producing videos. James and Maureen are co-authors of Leaders of the Class and the forthcoming title Classroom Reset. They have presented at conferences across the country.

Prior to co-founding Cor Creative Partners, Maureen taught for 15 years in elementary, middle, and high school classrooms before becoming a Curriculum Director, overseeing curriculum, resources, student data, instructional coaching, professional development, new teacher induction, and career education. Meanwhile, James served as a high school principal and dean of students, an instructional coach, a middle and high school English teacher, a visual storyteller, and a writer.
